My son and I absolutely love this product — you can truly tell it’s made with so much care. The crinkly flaps, different textures, and bright colors keep him so engaged, and the pull-tail feature that plays music makes it even more fun!
I especially love the Spanish verbs on the elephant — they’re words we use in our everyday routine, so seeing them brought to life in such an interactive way is really meaningful. It’s such a fun and engaging way for him to learn while he plays!

I took a star off because of price. I like the toy, it’s unique, and of course bilingual. I’m just wondering if it was worth spending $55 for a musical plush. Aside from pricing I think it’s a great toy gor bilingual babies.

As a bilingual speech therapist and mama of two, I got so excited when I heard about birdsong toys! We have the elefante at home and my youngest adores it! I love the fact that it doesn’t have recorded voices or buttons, which encourages real interaction and communication, allowing my little one to engage with me, not just the toy. Listening to the melody of “un elefante se balanceaba” was a blast from the past! So cute!
The multi sensory flaps are perfect to keep little hands engaged and the pictures for the verbs are wonderful for encouraging conversations and building vocabulary.
Overall, it’s an adorable, thoughtfully designed toy that can be used to support language development in Spanish, English or both! ☺️
I am obsessed with the Birdsong Toys! I purchased both the elephant and the sun for my daughter and nephew. The quality of the embroidery and the small details in the design are so well done. Not only is the quality amazing, but this is the perfect gift for any bilingual family. It helps create talking points between child and adult and is fun and beautiful for any child to love to play with it!

Absolutely love El Elefanta Quiere and so does my 9 month old daughter. I was pleasantly surprised at the size and quality of this learning companion. Not too big, no where near small this is the perfect sise for little ones. The details on this toy are cute and functional. Colors, textures, pictures, music and of course all the elements are mouthing friendly and in English and Spanish.

I can’t say enough good things about this adorable baby toy! My little one smiles from ear to ear as soon as she sees it. It’s butter-soft material immediately puts her at ease. Many of my friends are trying to introduce their young children to new languages (<2 y/o). Birdsong is one of very few toy brands that helps facilitate this. Absolutely brilliant — my new go-to baby gift!

The toy is adorable but I don’t know if the toy’s value justifies the price. I was expecting the toy to be more interactive in terms of sounds or something but for $55 there are a lot of other options out there.
