Birdsong Returns & Exchanges
At Birdsong, we design our products to support meaningful moments between caregivers and children through play, language, and connection. We hope you love your Birdsong purchase, but if something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help.
Returns
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for eligible items.
To be eligible for a return:
- Items must be in gently used or unused condition
- Original packaging should be included when possible
- Proof of purchase is required
Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item arrived damaged or defective.
Exchanges
We’re happy to offer exchanges for eligible items within 30 days of delivery.
Exchanges are a great option for gifts or if you’d prefer a different Birdsong product.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged or you believe there is a manufacturing issue, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@birdsongtoys.com with:
- your order number
- a brief description of the issue
- photos or video if applicable
We’ll make it right as quickly as possible.
About Our Musical Pull Strings
Birdsong plush toys use traditional mechanical pull-string music boxes. These music boxes naturally produce a soft, delicate chime-like sound due to their metal comb mechanism. Slower lullabies may sound more spaced apart or “chime-like” than faster melodies.
Because each music box is mechanical, slight variations in sound and tempo are normal.
Non-Returnable Items
For safety and hygiene reasons, the following items are final sale:
- Gift cards
- Clearance or final sale items
- Items marked final sale at checkout
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
Gift Returns
If you received a Birdsong item as a gift, please email us at hello@birdsongtoys.com and we’ll do our best to help with an exchange or store credit.
